Jono Terry: Between Two Shores

The story of Lake Kariba is steeped in mystery with unexplored narratives of colonial legacy, African mythology, mass displacements, commercial advancement and the clash of modernity and tradition. Zimbabwean-born Jono Terry’s enigmatically titled “Between Two Shores” solo exhibition narrates the many facets of the Kariba dam unknown to many citizens of Zimbabwe and Zambia that share the lake.

The exhibition opens on Saturday 20th June 2026 at Everyday Lusaka Gallery. This will be Jono Terry’s debut exhibition in Zambia. We are excited to share that he will be physically present for the opening of the exhibition! Please join us in welcoming him to Lusaka at the opening.
